What we collect
When you create an account we store your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your display name. When you plan a trip we store the trip details you enter: title, destination, dates, activities, notes, links, checklist items, and the people you invite.
How we use it
Your data is used only to run WanderPlan: to sign you in, to show your itineraries, and to share trips with the collaborators you choose. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
A trip is private until you turn sharing on. When sharing is enabled, anyone with the share link can view that itinerary without an account. You can turn sharing off or regenerate the link at any time, which immediately invalidates the old link. People you invite by email can view or edit depending on the role you give them.
Storage and security
Data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security, so accounts can only read the trips they own, are invited to, or that are shared by link. Passwords are hashed and never visible to us.
Your choices
You can delete any trip from its page, which permanently removes its activities, checklist, and collaborators. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us and we will remove it.
